What is your favourite supermarket and why?!
Answers:
Sainsburys!. I also love Lidl (even though it's cheap the food is pretty good)Www@FoodAQ@Com
A Strack & Van Til recently opened near where I live (Chicago), and I really love it! Well stocked produce section, amazing deli with standards and also unique salads and convenience foods!. The staff is well trained and friendly, and always willing to answer questions beyond "excuse me, where is the [insert item here]"!. also, it's less expensive to shop there than the other couple of chain-grocery stores in the midwest!.
I also like Trader Joe's for many of the same reasons, but especially if I'm throwing a party (great prices on wine, cheese, and nuts); or if I know I'll be having a busy week and need to stock up on convenience foods!.
Meijer's is another store I like pretty well, mostly because of the amazing international foods aisle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I shop at Barnes Family Grocery!. Many years ago in our community it was the local IGA!. Many high school students worked there stocking shelves and bagging groceries!. In 1980, a classmate of mine named Paul Barnes started working there!. He stayed there as an employee, graduated, started taking college credits, got married and they have children!. Throughout the years he worked his way through the ranks to become manager!. Recent years he actually bought the store!. The community is proud of him and grateful for all the Charitable contributions he has made to many non-profit groups in the area!. He keeps a very clean store, well stocked, fresh produce, and if you need something he doesn't necessarily carry at the time, just let him know and he will get it for you!. He also cuts the meat right there at the store!. You can ask him to cut your steaks to any thickness!. Small town service your grandparents knew!. It is great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
In the U!.S!. it's Wegman's!. The store is divided into stations, with a marketplace feel!. Everything from artisan breads and chocolates to small electrics to dinnerware can be found!. It is truly a "one-stop" shopping experience without a big-box mentality!. Sometimes they make things a little too easy: why cook when you can purchase restaurant quality meals to take home!? I could go on about their innovations, but will finish by saying that Wegman's is definitely worth a visit!. (No, I am not employed by the company)!. The only downside, is that you can easily blow your entire shopping budget there-in one trip!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well for me it's Whole foods!. They sell products that don't contain HFCS, MSG, trans fats and most importantly, no GMOs! They have locally grown produce and non irradiated organic foods!.
If you go to their website, they actually have a list of unacceptable food ingredients!. And the same goes with ingredients in soaps and shampoos!. No parabens, SLS, and talc to name a few!.
They have the same principals as I do, so I shop there!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
