You know we store up anyway for hurricanes!.Have you noticed expiration dates are not very long now!.I mean literally three months!.
I was wondering how people stock things like mayo soups tuna when the expiration date runs out so fast!?
This worries me!?I thought about canning foods!.!.!.

I don't see it being a problem unless there is natural disaster!.United states they normally do very well supplying foods and it keeps farmers and truckers in business!.

I do keep mac and cheese and some boxed stuff for emergency use !.
tuna, soups, canned veggies well stocked!.I try to buy 100 dollars worth every now and then when i get a bit extra !.!.
another thing i do is always keep propane gas for gas grill so i can cook on the grill in case of emergency !.!.no power for extended time!.I have 2 large containers for propane that can get expensive if you have to buy tanks they are like 44 a peice i think at hoem depot but always hang onto tanks!.!.!.

Well, first off if you have any credit card debt or loans you need to pay them off as fast you can!. I would make sure you had your bills paid at least 2 payments in advance, things like insurance on your house and health insurance!. Pay extra on your heating bills, I believe heating costs will go up!.
As far as storing food goes, I foresee fresh produce going up in price!. I would stock up a little more on frozen meat and vegs!. Be sure to rotate your stock tho!. I do not immediately see food shortages, but I do see where money (budgets) are going to be tight!. I would be very conservative and practical when it comes to Christmas shopping!. Do not get caught up in the Holiday buying frenzy as it were!. People have a tendency to go a little overboard during this time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
