What is heavier. pasta or rice?!?!

Question: What is heavier!. pasta or rice!?!!?
Answers:
I would say rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

PASTA is heavier!. Heres why!.!.its basic ingredents is flour, egg, water its either durum wheat or semolina flour!. It takes several ingredents to make pasta, first they have to get its grain & have to mill & gind it the into powdered/flour form then mix it with egg & water or whatever!. Several ingredents to turn it into a pasta of your choice now that just the pasta itself!.

As for RICE!.!.!.Rice is just a grain either unrefined (brown rice) or refined rice (white) short or long either way its a grain ready to cook!.

I would say pastas heavier because of its ingredients to make it to pasta!. Where as rice its just a natural grain just like that ready to cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i am not sure how you want your answer based according to your question!. my answer is how my stomach fills!. rice doesn't fill me up as fast and it doesn't stay with me as long!. pasta i eat and i feel heavy if that makes sense!. i do know an hour after i eat pasta i don't want to eat again an hour after eating rice i want to eat again!. just a personal thought on that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The nutrients missing from white rice and white flour are mainly the B vitamins!. The rest of the nutritional make up is pretty much the same, except for the fiber that helps keep you feeling full!. I don't think that white rice and flour are that bad, but why not eat the things that really pack a nutritional punch!? Things that give you more bang for your buck!? Like whole grains!?
