Is this a bad thing to find in my food?!
I got a box of oatmeal cookies about!.!.!.a week a go!. Today I went to get one out and I felt this little thing so I pulled it out, and it was one of those packs you find like when you buy a purse or something and it says "don't eat" I'm a little scared, because I don't think that's supposed to be in a food packet!.!.!.!.is it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some food items, especially biscuits, go soft really quickly from the moisture they absorb in the air!. The packet is probably there to absorb the moisture before the biscuits can and keep them crisp!
I'd still give the manufacturer a call and find out what is inside the packet - and let us all know once you do! I'd be interested to know what's inside it

Its a preservative packet, and some food items do have them in there!. If it makes you uncomfortable, don't eat them!. If you've already eaten some and haven't gotten sick, it's obviously ok!. You could always call the customer service number for the company and ask about it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've never found anything like that in any package of cookies!. Even if it was meant to be in there, do you really want to be eating something that requires a freshness packet!? I wouldn't!Www@FoodAQ@Com
It was probably put there on purpose!. Call the company to find out if this is something that they are doing!. It's just a preservative packet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yea!. I think its just to keep your food fresh!. Nothing too serious!. Eat the good oatmeal cookies!. (If you get sick, sue the company jk)Www@FoodAQ@Com
