Does dabbing grease off of a pizza actually make it any healthier or is it just a waste of time?!

Question: Does dabbing grease off of a pizza actually make it any healthier or is it just a waste of time!?
I've always wondered if dabbing the grease off was a good thing to do or if it's just pointlessWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, of course it helps because fat is very calorie dense so any removal will drastically change the calories as opposed to carbs/protein!.

People who blot their pizza always look neurotic!. But, they are saving themselves from consuming extra fat and calories!. By blotting the grease on top of a pizza with a napkin, you'll eliminate at least 4!.5 grams of fat per slice!.

So figure 1g fat = 9 calories so 4!.5g fat = over 40 calories removed from your pizza!.

It's somewhat dependant!. On something like a cheese pizza, you can dab off a lot of grease but not on like a supreme!. It wouldn't really matter!. Pizza is pretty greasy!. Cheese makes it oily because cheese is made with a lot of oil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm sure it doesn't make a lot of difference, but the less grease that is on the pizza, the less grease you ingest!. So yes it does make it a little bit healthier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

so how much grease CAN you dab off!. probably not much!. a pizza doesn't have much grease to dab off!. so you don't need to!.hope it helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to tell myself it is and that justifies the tub of ben and jerry's that usually follows after the pizza!.!.!.!.!.

It does reduce the calories somewhat otherwise it ends up inside you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is pointless!.Pizza is greasy so by u dabbing the grease off with a napkin is a waste of timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would just say it's a waste of time because isn't cheese fattening!? idkWww@FoodAQ@Com
