Chips, and if you know they're coming in advance buy dip!. Ranch, French Onion, and Vegetable are the flavors most are familiar with!. Pretzels are also good (they don't go stale for a long time), and you could buy some little chocolate bars (just set them out in a dish, so people can take them if they want)!. Keep popcorn on hand, and pop it up when people are coming - before it's popped, it can last forever! For fridge things - although these tend to expire quickly sometimes - keep pickles, cheese, and some sort of sandwich meat!. You should keep bread in too!. That way, you've got lunch covered if someone drops by!.

Just search around the snack aisle for things you could keep, there aren't a whole lot of things that keep fresh for a long time so you might want to buy something you eat too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get a bowl in the middle of your table and put some different types of candies in there!. A whole abundance, that way guests will gladly take a few and not feel greedy or anything!. Put things in like mints, werthers/milkfulls, chocolate wrapped in tin foil according to season (halloween style in fall, easter eggs in spring, santa claus stuff in winter) and I dunno just little individually wrapped soft and hard candies and chocolates, those are always fun and you can almost never go wrong, they last a really long time too since they're wrapped!.

Sometimes when you have certain people over, prepare a medium sized fruit bowl for you and your guests!. Put a jar of toothpicks nearby and those would be used in place of cutlery!. Nice and simple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sausage balls!. Mix 2 cups of Bisquick with 1lb of mild sausage and 2 cups of grated cheese!. Add a little water!. Roll them into small balls and then either cook them at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes depending on your oven!. Or put them in a plastic bag and freeze them!. You can pull out as many as you want at a time and just cook the ones you need and freeze the rest! Www@FoodAQ@Com
