Healthy foods to buy at the grocery store?!

Question: Healthy foods to buy at the grocery store!?
So i am not on a diet but i am eating healthier!. When we go to the grocery store we buy foods like coke, chips, ice cream, apples, milk, cheese, cookies or treats!.!.!.I know that fruit for one thing is healthy, milk is good too and cheese, but i need a list of healthy foods that aren't that expensive!. I do not drink soda but we buy like 6 jugs of coke for my siblings(3) which is disgusting in my mind!. I am getting chubby but do not think i am fat!. I want to het leaner before i GET fat!. I try to persuade my mom that we dont have to buy that much soda because my brothers drink a ton of it everyday!. My mom says she is getting fat(tummy area) and should eat healthier but never does!. I think we could all get leaner if we ate healthier and ate what tastes good too!.!.!. So once again, if anybody can write a list down of tastey foods that are good for you please do! Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to the organic section of the store!. That's where i shop!. I never go down regular aisle because they are filled with junk that is packaged in bright colorful boxes and bags by company's that pay stores to put them in certain places so you see them and buy them!.

I love stop & shops Natures Promise soy burgers

also when i buy ketchup i get organic because it doesn't have corn syrup, and corn syrup disrupts the absorption of protein and the more protein your body absorbs the more calories you burn while your body works harder to digest it!. So no Corn Syrup!.

also make sure you just read the labels!.
No Trans fats
No more then 5 grams of fat per serving!. Make sure you check calories
More protein!.
1OO% Whole Wheat bread!. Make sure that's the first ingredient on the package, No Wheat enriched flour!. That's still almost like white flour!.

Instead of a bowl of sugary cereal where the calories are all from sugar and carbs get a cereal that has at least 5 grams protein!. I love Kashi cereals!. In the organic section they have tons of really healthy cereal even if they are like 230 calories for 1 cup!. Unlike 120 a cup for say fruity pebbles!. The 230 calories is still better for you and can make you get leaner then the 120 calories!.

Egg whites too!. So instead of have a breakfast with three whole eggs!. Have one whole egg and 2 whites!.

You can eat the same just eliminate the fats and add proteinWww@FoodAQ@Com

just drink water instead of soda,

The best advice and the easiest to remember about shopping at the grocery store is to shop around the EDGES! That means you will be buying fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce section, dairy (choose the lower fat varieties) and unprocessed meats!. Make your way to the center to buy pastas and rice, salsa ( to serve with or roasted meats), spices (like lemon pepper and cajun seasoning) and bread--preferably whole grain!.

In the freezer section, buy frozen vegetables, whole grain waffles (serve with light syrup or chopped up fruit for breakfast) and if you are sweet eaters, put some pudding pops in the cart for those late night cravings!.

Good luck!. At 45 I know how those pounds creep up on you!Www@FoodAQ@Com
