Most of the lead in mexican candies come from unsanitary harvesting of chiles and how they are dried!. Turns out the lead was in the dust that would cover the chiles!. Unless you know and trust the source, if there is chili powder in your candy, don't eat it!. Same could be said for pico de gallo powder as well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why not do a web search for a correct answer!. That is why we was the web so we can get all the free info we want!. Cannot believe the time people waste writing questions here when they could already have had the question answered in moments and know that their answer was correct too!. People sometimes just do not use the brains that were given to them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no, i am proudly mexican and eat LOTS of mexican candy, i have benn eatiing lots of those and i feel fine, plus they were fixed(thats the best way to put it!.!.!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com
