Why do eggs blow up in the microwave?!
Answers:
The "micro waves" penetrate the egg shell and heat its content very rapidly!. (the contents of the albumen and yolk consist quite largely of water!.) when the water (in the egg) starts to heat it causes pressure inside the egg forcing the egg shell apart!.

Are you adding butter and milk to them!? If you do this it will soften them and make them less dry and they will not blow up in the microwave!. This is how I make my daughter's eggs every morning and I add some cheese and the kid is in heaven :) Good luck hon!Www@FoodAQ@Com
