Answers:
I never use milk in my mac and cheese - I just use butter or margarine!. Just increase the amount until the powder stuff is moistened - it's usually around double what the box calls for!. Quite tasty!. Alternately, some people have used sour cream, if you've got that around!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hopefully you have butter or margarine because if so, you can skip the milk and actually use water if you have zero milk!. You can also use half and half, evaporated milk, dry milk mixed with water and even plain and dry dairy creamer (make sure it isn't sweetened or flavored) mixed with a bit of water to improvise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't even use milk; I substitute equal amounts of sour cream for the milk!. It comes out creamier and smoother than with milk and much more flavorful too!Www@FoodAQ@Com

When I have made it and I didn't have any milk, I just used more butter and a little bit of waterWww@FoodAQ@Com
