What the heck do you do w/ bags of maple/brwn sugar frosted mini wheats?!
i was given these by my husband's exwife!. they are like one week out of date - still perfectly good!. but, here's the problem - my stepsons don't eat them, my husband doesn't eat them!. my daughter and i do, but you can only eat so many! i have given some away to neighbors, but i still have about 15 bags left!.
i don't want them to go to waste!.!.!.we are going to a halloween party this week, and i figure there has got to be something i can make w/ them to take! i love to cook and create my own dishes, but am running out of ideas on this one!
thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crush them up a little (about 5-8 cups), add some shredded coconut, a few tablespoons of jam, some milk, a cup of crushed nuts, dried fruit such as raisins, dried cranberries, dates, sultanas and dried apricots, a cup of breadcrumbs, two tablespoons of custard powder, half a cup of fruit juice, two tablespoons of cocoa!. Mix well!. Spread in a greased cake tin and bake for about 50 - 70 minutes!. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, then turn out, cut into fingers!. Eat warm or cold with ice cream or warm custard!.
Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hmmm You could mix with a few other ingredients and make like a trail mix out of it and take to the party!. also take the extra bags with you and do a "cereal walk" you know like a cake walk but you end up with a bag of cereal!. I don't know that's all that I can think of!. Hope it helps!.
Good Luck!.
