My husband did not drain the meat before adding spaghetti sauce?!
He makes me so mad when he does that, how can I get the grease out easily!? I have heard of putting some bread on top will absorb it but will that work with spaghetti sauce!? and if so when do I do it, when its still hot or the next day after its been refrigerated!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
refrigerate the spaghetti sauce!. the oil will rise and solidify!. then you can remove it easilyWww@FoodAQ@Com
No problem,
If you let it sit in the fridge over night all the fat will accumulate on the top of the sauce and harden, all you will need to do is scoop it off with a spoon!.
If sauce is warm it is a bit harder, the fat will still pool on the top but it will take a little while!. Use a turkey baster and suction it off, you won't get it all but probably most of it!.
Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

F#@$ing stupid men! Put the sauce on simmer, cover and the grease will come up to the top and you can skim alot of it out with a spoon!. If you aren't going to eat it now, when you stick it in the fridge the fat will go up to the top!. Good luck!. Try the bread thing but have something ready to grab it out with when it starts falling apart!. Do that while it's still hot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
