Only if you are using filter coffee or beans (whole or ground)
Freeze dried coffee is usually made from the remains of aribica and robusta beans and is usually the stuff that isn't any use in quality whole or ground fresh coffee,
In many cases freeze dried coffee is already burnt!. the taste of the coffee is usually the result of which brand it is!.
If you are using fresh coffee in cafetieres or coffee machines then boiling water will burn the coffee, Cafetieres should be pre heated with hot water and left to warm before the coffee goes in!.
Hope this helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it's true! Tea is best if you use water as close to boiling as possible, coffee however should be a little below boiling!. Most people try to counter this by putting the milk in and mixing it with the coffee before using the water, so as not to burn the coffee!. You can always add a little more milk at the end if you're worried about judging the strength before the water goes in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I know you can burn coffee but not when its instant like that, if you add your hot water to the grains into a cup then you aren't burning the coffee you might be using a burned pot, try switching pots and see if that works!. Cause once a pot is burned then its ruined!. now the order that you put the ingredients in have nothing to do with the "tasting burnt" issue!. good luck trying to convince him otherwise!.
but you aren't wrong, but as women we have to just say "oh ok" and walk away!. Have fun with him though!.
oh if he doesn't like the way you do it and gets all mad tell him he can do it himself if he wants to be all picky, you are doing it out of the kindness of your heart and he should be greatful!.
oh yea keep your instant coffee in the refrigerator it keeps it fresher and helps keep flavor longer too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ok, well!. Either ask him to show you how he would like his coffee made, or tell him to make it himself!. If this is instant coffee, then no!. You cant burn it!. He is being silly!. Or picky more like it!. In which case he needs to make it himself and deal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
it doesn't burn the coffee, doing it that way, but everyone has preferences!. I make it the same way as you simply because the coffee and sugar disolve better this way!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
yes thats correct, the water shouldnt actually be boiling, about 10 seconds after the kettle has boiled should be fine!.
On the other hand, you could always tell him to make it himself! LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com
