You have excellent answers here, but bear in mind, the most beneficial aspects of apples are not in a concentrate!. In processing the apples (which are not those that can be sold as whole apples) the heating destroys most of the vitamins, so they have to be added back to the apple concentrate - unless the container plainly states "Organic" they use synthetic vitamins to replace those lost in the processing - I hope!
Secondly, a whole apple is far better for us than any juice or nectar could possibly be!. That's why the infamous juicers are not a panacea for good health, despite what the he-man says in his ads (Its his generally good diet and focus on preventive health that keeps him in stead - for a while) - he's a salesman!. We need that excellent fiber in veggies - even pears are sky-high in fiber!.
If we would eat our veggies, and fruits whole, and uncooked (with some exceptions) as much as possible, we'd be better off and have more money to spend - just take a glass of water when thirsty - VOILA! JUICE!
Veggies in the cabbage-family and tomatoes are best eaten either "garden-warm" or room temperature - to release the anti-cancer ingredients in them - like the joy of roaming through Grandpa's garden and picking a fresh tomato that's been in the sun!.!.!.nothing like it!.
Steaming or roasting is best for veggies, too - and some fruits but preserve the natural Vitamin C in them, and don't heat them!
Bon Appetit!
