What will happen if someone eats a sausage that's pink inside?!
Ok I cooked some sausages and I probably did them on a heat too high or something (I cooked them on a grill) I noticed they were pink inside so I put them back on for a little bit but on a lower heat!. When when I went back they were burnt a bit so i took them off but they were still pink inside but I was too hungry so I ate them!. Will I be ok!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they had been cured, you could eat them without any cooking at all!.
The person above is mistaken!. Raw meat is not dangerous!. Bacteria that tend to infect raw meat can be dangerous!. Many people eat raw meat their entire lives and never get sick!. The meat would have to be infected to make you sick!.

If you put a thermometer in the center of the sausage and it reads over 170F, then it should be fine!. A lot of cured meats contain nitrates, which is used as a curing agent, but also gives meat its pink color!. So, as long as you use a thermometer, you should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If it is in fact undercooked you could get very ill indeed!. Raw meat can be extremely dangerous if ingested so be careful to thoroughly cook all meat products!. More than likely if you were going to have ill effects from the meat it would have developed by now lets hope so anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, I think it was cooked!. Plus sausages are pink and if you cooked them all around then you should be fine!. If you don't feel sick, then you're ok!. If the sausage was green, then that would be another problem lol!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
yes you will be ok , but i wouldn't suggest it again , if it happens again put in microwave for 15 seconds just to be sure , because sausages contain offal you have to be careful Www@FoodAQ@Com
Its absolutely fine!. I just ate a bit of lamb for dinner last night that was pink in the middle!. As long as the temp of the meat is over 75 degrees then its cooked for sure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
