Best Wine and Cheese Combinations?!
I'm clueless about wine and cheese!. Is there a certain type of wine and cheese combo that tastes best!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Well, Port wine and Stilton cheese are a great combo!.
Many types of cheese have pairing wines recommended by the maker of the cheese!.
As a rule of thumb, a wine made in the same region as the cheese is the best way to go!. If you're not buying artisan cheeses, I would not spend a lot of time on the pairing dilemma!. Just get a wine that you like and is not too overpowering for the cheese or that the cheese overpowers the wine!. Which can be extended to be that red wines typically go with stronger cheeses and whites with milder cheesesWww@FoodAQ@Com
