Answers:
It is NOT SAFE!.Chicken should be stored at a temperature outside of the temperature zone in which bacteria, that causes foodborne illness, grows quickly!. The danger temperature zone is a range between 40°F and 140°F!. The outside of the chicken(at least) has reached that danger zone!. Never leave the chicken at room temperature for more than two hours!.
Chicken like all perishable food is susceptible to contamination when not handled correctly!. Raw chicken should not be left at room temperature for longer than 1 - 2 hours!. At room temperature harmful microorganisms can multiply quickly which can lead to food spoilage and foodborne illness when eaten!. COOKING WILL NOT HELP!!
If there are a high number of bacteria, the high temperature may not destroy them all!. Some bacteria produce toxins which are heat resistant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
