Traveling with frozen meat for four or five hours! Is it safe?!

Question: Traveling with frozen meat for four or five hours! Is it safe!?
I am traveling from ny to connecticut and between the mta trip to get to penn station and the bus ride its going to take me between four or five hours!. I am taking frozen uncooked meat with me to bring back to my dorm!. Is it safe have uncooked meat out for that long!? I'll be wrapping it in a LOT of plastic bags and and newspapers!. Will that help!? Are there any other ways to keep them frozen and not have them completely dethaw!? Its not very warm outside since its approaching winter!. I dont have a cooler so any help would be greatly appreciated!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You can buy those plastic freezer boxes!.Place it in the freezer to allow it to become solid, wrap it in plastic, then place directly next to the meat with some form of wrapper between them!.
then, wrap the entire package solidly first, with a layer of plastic or use a baggie, then wrap with newspaper!. Several single layers of newspaper are better and more insulating than using 3 - 4 sheets at the same time!.
If you pack it in your suitcase, you can also wrap with some piece of clothing, such as a pair of jeans or a towel!. It should stay until you get to school, and good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

Chances are it will still be frozen solid in that amount of time if well wrapped!.!.!.or even if slightly thawed, just re-freeze it at once!.
We have transported meats and cheeses from PA to FL, 20 hours and it held up fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think it should be fine!. While traveling, keep it in the coolest area that you have around you and get it into a fridge or freezer as soon as you get to your dorm!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
