How come we can't eat "anything"?!


Question: How come we can't eat "anything"!?
how come we can't eat tree leaves!? or trees!? branches!? tree roots, or grass!? if we eat them why will they make us sick, or why do we not eat them!? if we were stranded on an island, would we be able to eat them!? and why are they not considered vegetables!?Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
Different animals are made specially for different diets!. Humans aren't made to eat leaves, therefore can't digest them properly and would have to eat a heck of a lot before they can begin to nourish you (if at all, I'm not sure)!.

I guess if you are stranded on an island, it may be worth a try to eat them!. You would have to spend all day eating though!.

Sort of like how pandas are not made to eat bamboo yet though do!.!.!. therefore having to spend all day eating tons of the stuff that barely nourishes them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's very hard to get nutrients from trees and grass and leaves!.

Cows eat grass, but they have a specialized gastric system for it, with four stomachs!.

Termites eat wood, but they have symbiotic parasites living inside them that help them digest!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
