How large can turnips get before they taste really bad?!
I have some rather large turnips that my husband and I picked today!. Some are the size of a average butternut squash! Does this effect their flavor!? I really don't know much about turnips so I'm hoping to get more information!. Thank You!Www@FoodAQ@Com

maybe this will elp!?
i duno i dont eat them but i know some veggies the bigger they are they tend to lose flavor
Since larger roots can have a more woody texture, look for small turnips!. Smaller turnips also have a sweeter flavor!. They should be smooth-skinned and without blemishes!. Store them in a perforated plastic bag in the refrigerator crisper, and use within a week or so!.
