prawnsare similar in appearance to shrimp, but can be distinguished by the gill structure which is branching in prawn
lagostines is a crustacean hybrid between shrimp and lobster!.

Careful! Langoustines are also a fresh water crustacean sometimes called Crawfish!. They are not expensive and in some cases can be passed on as prawns and charged more money for it!.
