Answers:
The best fish (without a fishy flavor) are firm halibut, swordfish, tuna or mahi-mahi steaks!. They have a meatier texture!. You can BBQ them too, so there's no fish smell in the house:) Just rub with some olive oil & sprinkle with herbs first, or even use a teriyaki marinade!. ANY of the softer fish in filets will have a fishy taste or smell!.!.!.!.!.!.!. But, surprisingly, SUSHI has less of a fishy taste than cooked fish! Tuna is the one that most people start with!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salmon has a wonderful flavor and is so good for you health wise!. But, do have the butcher remove the skin or you do it before baking/broiling then you will not have a "fishy" oder in the kitchen!. also perch and walleye pike are very tasty--I always order them when eating out as they are usually boned and I do not have to fuss at home!. I am from Wisconsin and perch and walleye are caught here and usually on all menus in our restaurants!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well that all depends on how they are prepared!. If you just clean them and cook them they will all smell and taste like fish!. But you can take catfish and soak it in salt water for a couple of hours and then soak it in milk for a couple of hours!. to take the fish smell out!. If you want to change the taste!. bake it with lemon and butter add a few cloves or your favorite spices and give that a tryWww@FoodAQ@Com

The secret is freshness!. Lots of fish are not "fishy" tasting if they are cooked when fresh!. Old fish can taste bad no matter what kind they are!. I personally like Tuna steaks, or haddock!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
