The very best way to store potatoes, is the really old fashion way!. You put them on a bed of hay or straw in the garden and cover them with dirt!. They will stay as fresh as the day you dug them and will loose no moisture which means they won't shrivel up or sprout as potatoes do in the potato ben!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, I'd freecycle them!. There's an organization for almost every town online - you can give away (or request) an item you can no longer use or have no room for in your case!. I'd try that, people will be very happy to receive free food in this economy & you're helping your community out!. Just google: Freecycle & your town/city!.

also ask a soup kitchen or area shelter!. It could be a tax write off if you give it to charity!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Potatoes should be stored in a hessian bag in a cool, dark, dry place!. Why don't you give some of them to the mission, like Kelle said, if you can't use them all!. 200 pounds would last you a very long time and a lot of them would have shot by then!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Give them to a Rescue Mission, shelter for the homeless, foodbank etc!. They will be gone in a week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They should store pretty well in a cool dark place!.!.!.!.do you have a crawl space under your house!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
