Caffeine stimulates your adrenal glands, which increases your heart and respiration rate!. Blood leaves your stomach and bladder, causing more frequent urination and nausea/"butterflies," and flows into your brain and eyes to make you more attentive!.

When adrenaline is released into your body, you go into "fight or flight response" mode/stress in order for you to become more attentive and ready for your situation!.

This effect is relatively mild compared to the response when you get scared by something, so it's often just interpreted as being more awake!.

Grinding your teeth is a method of releasing the energy that's built up!. People also do things like tap their foot or hand repeatedly, or shake!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am quite sensitive to caffeine as well!. It makes feel quite anxious and jittery!. I usually drink half a cup of coffee or have a blended coffee (have decaf and half regular with no sugar or cream) if I need just a little boost!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
