Chicken has been out of the fridge for 14 h, is it still edible?!

Question: Chicken has been out of the fridge for 14 h, is it still edible!?
Answers:
Almost all health codes will tell you that any food kept in the temp!. danger zone 40-140, for more than four hours is a hazard!. ESPECIALLY high protien food such as meat and fish, and chicken is probably the worst culprit!.
Bacteria can double or triple their count in less than an hour!. Therefore if you had 10 bacteria ( let's say, salmonella) when you began, and it tripled every hour!.!.!.!. you would have approximately 47,829,690 Salmonella bacteria after 14 hours!.!.!.!.!.!.
Now, 10 bacteria is a really, really, low number to start with!. I would assume even a healthy piece of chicken would have alot more, Cooking kills a lot, but you would have to cook the crap out of it to kill 47 million bacteria!.!.!.!.

Bacteria grow very rapidly in meat that is warmer than 40 degrees!.
also, when cooking make sure the chicken reaches 165 degrees!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken, pork and cooked rice are decidedly dodgy to eat if left out of the chill chain!.!.!.!.far too much bacteria for any-ones good particularly as long as you mention!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Risky!. That's far too much time to allow the chicken to come to room temperature!. Room temperate: Bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's raw, I wouldn't touch it!. If it's cooked, I probably wouldn't either!.

Why do so many people on YA leave food out for so long!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. Especially if it's raw!. Too much bacteria to not be safe!. Toss it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

"When in doubt, throw it out"

Unless you have good health insurance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
