Cooking and Baking are very different!. For a main course you figure out what starch you want to use!. Potatoes, Rice, Noodles,(Pasta)!. Then always have on hand onions, carrots, green pepper, celery!. Minced meat, chicken, ham, pork for your meats!. Canned tomatoes, creamed corn, creamed soup!. There are so many easy meals you can make with this!. Fried rice, Jambalaya rice with tomatoes, vegetables!. Plain Rice with fish & Veg!. Mashed potatoes, minced meat and creamed corn layered, makes shepards pie, Chinese Macaroni, cook minced meat, pasta, vegetables add 2 cups beef broth thicken with 2 tbls cornstarch mixed with 2 tlbs water!. Mac!. Minced meat & tomatoes, Mac and Cheese!.Chili, minced meat vegetables tomatoes & chili beans with chili spice!. It's easy to cook, just get your main ingredients together!. I have days when my baking just doesn't go well!. I find that I have to be in the mood and I have to focus while I'm doing it!. Sometimes the magic still isn't there!. All kinds of things can affect your baking- from the weather to the quality and freshness of your ingredients!. There's a lot of chemistry involved with baking!. I don't understand a lot of it but I know it matters!. Understand your terms!. There's a big difference between folding in an ingredient and mixing it in!. Remember, practice makes perfect!. Start simple!. Perfect one or two recipes before moving on!. I spent one whole winter figuring out how to make perfect (extremely simple) white bread from scratch!. You can do it!
