the animal was raised with out the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, and fed a meal that is organic!.!.!. (meaning same as above) It's much better for you than all the preservatives and hormones in most foods today, but it also is very expensive!. Sometimes I try to find food that maybe isn't necessarily organic, but made without the use of growth hormones and antibiotics!. Not the best, but better then the normal stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It simply means meat which contains no artificial ingredients!. Just regular meat, for example if you were to grow a wild chicken egg into a domestic chicken and than you take that domesticated chicken and you decided to kill it and eat it the meat from that chicken would be organic!. Not grown in a laboratory or somewhere!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Usually that means meat that comes from animals that were not given any injections, hormones, steroids etc!. to speed up growth or make the meat better!. My in-laws cows were organic because they only ate hay and grass from the fields!. They never gave them anything extra!. I'd say the same for the turkeys, but I think they get some sort of injections at birth to speed up growth, but i could be wrong!. They don't raise them from eggs, but buy them from hatcheries!.
