Every time after I drink a cup of coffee I become jittery and end up with a severe stomach ache. why?!
It's more than just jittery, my stomach hurts to the touch and it continues to hurt for hours!. My eyes start watering and my nose starts to run like I am having an allergic reaction!. It has always been like this since the first time I drank coffee!. I have tried light coffee before but i still had the same reaction!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You just need to add some whiskey!. A lot of whiskey!.
Just kidding, of course!. Really, what the first post said covers it!. Note that stomach pain alone might indicate ulcers (like I have)!. Caffeine can really irritate ulcers, not only causing pain but making the ulcers worse over time!. Still, like the previous poster said, given all your symptoms, you probably called it correctly yourself - you're having an allergic reaction!. Do you react the same way to other caffeinated drinks (Mountain Dew, black tea, colas)!? What about different coffee brands!? If you have reactions to various caffeinated-beverages, a simple solution would be to assume you're allergic to caffeine!. However, if colas and teas don't bother you, then you're allergic to something else in the coffee!. If that was the case, you should look into whether or not you're allergic to an additive in the coffee, or if you're even allergic to organic coffee!.
I hope this helped!. Good luck and stay well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You probably have an allergy to coffee or even caffeine!. try drinking soda, if this happens again, you may want to stay away from caffeine!.
in the mean time, just don't drink coffee!. because obviously you are having adverse reactions!.
If you are drinking it to stay awake, then it's not worth it!. That's like taking a sore throat medication that has side effects of vomiting or something worse than the original problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i know the jittery thing is natural for coffee!.
the stomach ache could be from acid reflux disease!. coffee is pretty acidic, so it will really upset your stomach if you have a!.r!.d!. just stay away from the coffee and switch to tea, i find that tea is less unsettling!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
