so bloody damp everywhere and financial gloom and doom surrounds us all !.!.!.!. but it's supper time and comfort foods beckon! What comfort foods really 'do it' for you!? For me, it's hot tomato soup and buttered rolls !.!.!.!. anyone else!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

For me, I live in Wisconsin (USA), where it is cold for 9 months of the year and we are lucky if we get 3 full months of summer, but I always go for a big bowl of chili with garlic cheese bread to dip up extra sauce!. I'm having pork roast tonight, last week was chili!. It's 32 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now and it is 10:16pm Sunday and we are getting more snow tonight!. I hate winter!

casseroles, slow cooked food with mashed potato, french onion soup, roast veg with gravy and mash, toad in the hole with onion gravy and mash

basically stuff that takes a while to cook, fills the house with warmth and gorgeous cooking smells, and it steaming hot, like wrapping a big duvet round you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
