Answers:
as long as i have known pb has been stored in the cabinet!. But I dislike pb!. so, i dont have to think about the nasty thoughts!.

I think it is said to put peanutbutter in the fridge for sanitary purposes!. And it won't go bad left out!. I just think it produces bacteria or something similar when trace amounts of spit are left in the jar, and they ferment in room temp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't store it in the fridge, it makes it too hard to come out of the jar then!.!.!. Natural does go in the fridge but I don't buy that kind!

I do have to come back and add that it was probably grapeseed oil they used! I laughed when I read rapeseed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unless it's natural peanut butter, you can just store it in a cabinet!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is better to put it in the fridge after opening otherwise it'll go bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
