Is there a difference between a "Buffet" and an "All you can eat buffet"?!

Question: Is there a difference between a "Buffet" and an "All you can eat buffet"!?
If a restaurant calls their establishment as a "Buffet" does that necessarily mean "all you can eat"!?

There are buffets that actually advertise as all you can eat, but not all of them!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, there is a difference!.

A buffet is simply a meal where guests serve themselves!.!.!.!.there is no obligation to supply endless amounts of food!.
Usually of course you would cater for the numbers expected but it does run out in the end!.!.

An all you can eat buffet of course states the aim of supplying as much food as is wanted, they assume you won't eat them out of business of course but technically you could!.
