Is to much Flax Seed bad for you?!
I want to use flax seed(like in a powder form) to add to my fruit smoothies in the morning and I don't know if it can be bad for you to use to much!. thank youWww@FoodAQ@Com

Too much flax seed too quickly can cause gastrointestinal discomfort to say the least!. Start with about 1/2 a tsp in your smoothie and slowly work up to higher amounts as your body adjusts to the added fiber!. You'll know when to stop!.

"Flax seed" is just a fancy name for linseed (as in "linseed oil", the stuff they make oil paints out of!?)!.!.!.it won't do you any serious harm (though it will "loosen" your digestive system, LOL!) but it won't do you much good, either; why would you want to do such a thing!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
no i don't believe there are any negative side effects!. if you do take too much, the only thing that could happen is that you will excrete the rest in urine or something!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
