Question: Best foods to chew and spit!?
im recovering from anorexia and bulimia and i have discovered 'chewing and spitting'!. i found it on a website and it said that it can help with recovery from an eating disorder!. i tried it, and its been great! i have done it with cookies to manage my cravings!. what other foods are good chew-and-spit foods!? Sweetie, that isn't recovery!. You are still spitting your food!. You may be absorbing a few calories, but your counselors and parents and other loved ones would be upset over this method!. Try eating apples, bananas, blueberries, foods that have nutritional value and low calories!. Don't think I don't know where you are coming from, i've been bulimic for many many many years, in and out of treatment and I still wont allow myself to recover because I feel empty without it, chewing and spitting isn't recovering!. It's simply masking a recovery!.
