Roth Kase's Sole Granqueso -- it's a wonderful manchego type that's won multiple awards!.
Anything by Marin French Cheese company's Rouge et Noir is great!.
Browse your local cheese shop if you have one!. If not, there are some fine books available in most libraries with photos and descriptions of the types of cheeses available around the world!.

How about Bocconcini !? They're small balls of mild white cheese, kinda like mozzarella, but pure white in colour!. You can find them fresh at the cheese counter, swimming in salted water, or in a plastic tub!.
Try slicing the bocconcini, with fresh tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a pinch of sea salt and fresh ground pepper, Yummy, quick and low-cal too !!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My suggestions would be:
- An authentic Smoked Gouda
- Oka, which is kind of stinky but has a very nice nutty flavour
- There is nothing better than a home made mozzarella, which I would strongly suggest doing!. It could even be a good date idea, if you don't mind getting a little messy!
- Mascarpone, which is almost not a true cheese, it more like whipped cream, but much much richer!. You can use it in desserts (it's one of the main ingredients in tiramisu)
-Of course, nothing beats Parmigiano-Reggiano as far as cheeses go, although it's not exactly of the wine and cheese variety!.
-Camembert is also a nice alternative to Brie, it's slightly more flavourful!.
Good luck with your cheese adventures, I hope my list helped!Www@FoodAQ@Com
