Answers:
No frying with olive oil will not give you cancer!.!.!.if it did more than half of Italy would be dead by now!. In fact, olive oil contains antioxidants that may help to stave off cancer!.

When olive oil reaches its smoking point, it burns and you'll know when it does!.!.!.it smells bad and changes colour!.

I know there's a lot of guff out there about not frying in olive oil but a large number of chefs do it!. As long as you're not using excessively high heat (anything above 210C / 410-420F) the oil won't burn even if reused 3 or 4 times!. Usually 350 to 365F is optimal for frying so you're well within the limits!.

One of the main reasons a lot of people don't use olive oil for frying is that it alters the taste of foods because the oil itself has its own distinct flavor that may not work with some cuisines!.!.!.like Chinese food!. The Chinese use peanut or vegetable oils because they they're essentially flavour-neutral (as well as having a higher smoke point bot most of their wok cooking is done over high BTU gas fires which burn hotter than an actual stove)!. And because olives don't grow in China!.

also olive oil is much more expensive than peanut or vegetable oils so if one does a lot of frying, the cheaper alternative may be a better solution for some!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use olive oil for cooking, but you do have to be careful about not letting it break/smoke!. I never heard that it gives you cancer--I have heard (and personally know that) it gives you the runs!. That's true of most oils, though they break at higher temperatures than olive oil so anyone who's been cooking for six months won't have the heat high enough to break vegetable oil!.

Olive oil is one of the healthiest oils--I think only peanut oil beats it!. If you are frying in a skillet, keep the heat down so it doesn't break!. I tried olive oil in a deep fryer but it didn't work well--it was too hard to control the temperature, and once the oil breaks, you need to throw out all of that oil!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes I read about not letting oil burning to smoking point as it is not good for you!. Olive oil was not mentioned, just any oil!. I don't know if cancer was mentioned!.
I use olive oil in the wok to cook all the time and has let it become very hot but not to smoking point!.
To stir fry veggies and meat, the wok has to be very hot, otherwise it gets sticky!. It will also give you a nice wok taste in your food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Usually for frying foods most people use oil with a higher smoke point like corn or vegetable or peanut!.

Olive oil has a low smoke point and therefore it is not great for frying!. You can use it to cook and dip bread in!. Just not a good oil for frying!.

As far as cancer causing, I dont know!. Researchers find something new everyday to scare us with!. I say everything in moderation is good enough!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure about the cancer aspect, but olive oil and woks don't mix!. The temperature required to stir fry is excessive to the delicate nature of the olive oil!. You would be better off to use a peanut or sesame seed oil, I think!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Olive oil has a super low smoke point, and it's best for a wok to be piping HOT! Because of this, the olive oil will break down, burn, and taste super icky!!

It's better to use peanut or canola oil because they can take the super high temps of a wok! :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

no olive oil is very healthy to eat with as long as its a little bit like a table spoon a day is good for a person but don't wanna get fat off the stuff so don't over do it Www@FoodAQ@Com
