Fruit, vegetables, grains, beans!. Cut out the salt, flour, and sugar!.
Bright fruits and veggies have lots of anti-oxidants, leafy greens (like spinach, kale, and collared greens) have good mineral value like iron and magnesium as well as omega's!. Beans are a great source of low-fat protein!. Grains are important sources of fiber, as is broccoli!. Try oats, corn meal, quinoa, barley!.
Eat things that you can identify as either coming from a plant or an animal easily!. Eat food, not food products!. Example: What is a twinkie!? How would you grow it!? What is Spam!? What is a power bar!?
