Answers:
If you have a dishwasher then instead of cleaning tablets , place a cup full of cheap white vinegar in the machine and run it through a cycle once every three months, this actually cleans the machine better than anything else and leaves it smelling of nothing but freshness!.
Go to your local cheap store!.!.pound or dollar store, and get some laundry balls, use them in the wash and reduce the temperature setting to 30c!.; the balls give your laundry an extra scrubbing and get things clean at lower temperatures and with less cleaning product!.
Hang shirts and blouses on plastic coat hangers before and then on the line to dry, they will crease less, iron faster and suffer less stretch damage from pegs and their own weight!.Some things won't need ironing at all and can go straight from the line to the wardrobe!.
Rediscover simple, tasty meals!.!.soups and sandwiches are great on a cold night, especially if you have a sandwich toaster!.!.and you use incredibly small amounts of filling for toasted sandwiches by the way!.
Egg and baked beans on toast, followed by tea and biscuits or a packet of cheap jam tarts; spaghetti bolognese; minced beef in onion gravy served with yorkshire pudding, boiled potatoes and seasonal veg is always delicious and satisfying and can be done for a really low price!. if you want to make a meal for guests then lasagna is cheap, it just takes some time and effort!.!.or you can make a small chicken go a long way by casseroling or stewing it and serving it with dumplings!.!.either using dumpling mix, which is incredibly cheap, or making your own with either Atora or Atora light!.
A slow cooker is a good way of preparing meals cheaply!.stews and curries can be let cooking all day so you come home to delicious smells and the knowledge that you can sit down and eat as soon as you have done the potatoes or rice!.!.and slow cookers cn also be bought very cheaply, as can basic sandwich toasters!.
If you know that you are going to want several cups of coffee or tea over the next few hours then make a thermos flask full and you won't have to keep boiling the kettle!.!.and an extra duvet on your bed is a lot cheaper than having the heating on at night!. If you really need the bed warmed up then buy a cheap electric blanket and turn it on for an hour before you go to bed, then off once you are there!.or even go back to a hot water bottle , either the old fashioned sort or a microwavable one!.
Saving money tends to be a trade off, you have to spend a little more time and effort on things and make sure that you take a good look at special offers in your supermarket!. Never go shopping with a fixed idea about what meals you are going to make over the next few days, take a good look at what is on offer and then make up your mind!.!.and of course you can always check out the offers on line first with many supermarkets now!. On the one hand it takes more time and work but on the other it is a lot more satisfying than you would expect and you may even find that your diet improves!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
