I can't stop eating sour cream?!


Question: I can't stop eating sour cream!?
I have a problem with eating! I eat when I'm bored, sad, lonely, depressed, angry, or for any other reason!. I eat a lot of sour cream especially on the spoon or on toast or whatever!. I stuff my face with the stuff and there's no stopping me when I want to eat!. Sour cream always build's up in the corners of my mouth and it tastes really good as a snack but the kid's at school are always laughing at me and calling me fat and stupid and saying i have poopie armpits!. What should I do!? How can I stop eating all the time and stuffing my face and belly with sour cream and other foods!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Switch to plain yogurt!. It is good for you and has far fewer calories!. As for eating all the time,,,maybe you need to find a sports outlet and get involved in a sport!. Try bicycling, or walking the mall!. You can get exercise in lots of pleasant ways and this will in turn, help you to crave junk food less!.

The healthier you get, the less you crave things that are bad for you!. Watch "The biggest Loser" on TV right now!. You can pick up quite a few tips from that show!.

talk to your school counselor, tell him or her you think you may have an eating disorder!. maybe talking to your health teacher would be a good idea too!. its good that you are seekig help on this, dont let it go too far or it will take control of you!. theres nothing wrong with seeking help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are not alone so don't let it make you more depressed!.
You are in control of your habits no one else is so you are the one that has to be strong enough and smart enough to STOP the bad habits and change your life around so you can be free of any habit that is destroying your mentally and physically!.

Start keeping a journal
In it keep a record of all you eat and also what you were thinking when you decided to eat but not your regular dinner time just the times you are stressed out!.
Think of something physical you enjoy doing when you get that craving for anything instead of running to the kitchen run the other way to doing something physical like walking around the back yard 6 times!.!.!.!.until that feeling passes!. Put on your headphones to your favorite music!.
If you try and do some simple things to end this desire of attachment to food you can prove to yourself that you are stronger than you think and one day you will look back and see how far you have come!. Now is the time to start a new way of living do it before you have serious health problems!.
If you are tired of the things your school mates say then it is up to you to make some serious changes so this also does not continue!.

First of all, I can totally relate!. While I don't binge on sour cream, chocolate is my weakness when depressed or bored!.
They key is to find out why you are depressed or why you are bored or sad or whatever and fix that part!. If you are depressed, you need to find out and acknowledge why and fix it!. If you are sad, find something to make you happy, go for a walk, get outside!. I can imagine it must be hard at school!. I'm an adult so at least I can suffer alone, but having a billion kids staring at me would really hurt!.
Maybe you should try talking to your parents about whats wrong!. I bet they would love to help!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
