What about cows, chickens, turkey, pigs, lamb, fish etc!.!?

Do you think consuming those animals is unnecessary too!?
Factory-farming those so they
1) live horrible lives
and
2) are part of your dinner (just like shark fin soup may be!?)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The whole shark is used if not for the soup then for some other purpose!. The soup and the meat of sharks is delicious!. I don't know who would tell you that only the fin was used!. The fin is costly but there are only one on each fish, they use the dorsal fin when the soup is prepared!. I hope that I have cleared this up for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think its the same as cows!.!. people eat them!.!. what about the chinese places that cook house pets! now that's wrong! wild animals like deer, elk, moose, cow, pig, chicken, whale, seal, frog, squid, shrimp all of it is and has been eaten for a very long time!.!. and none of them are extinct!.!.but when you get into house hold pets thats when its time to worryWww@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with you- it is cruel and disgusting!. If they feel they need to eat the fins, it should be required that they find uses for the rest of the fish and there should be a limit on catching them -like other fishing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think that is really cruel!. no poor animal should suffer that!. i love animals! thats should not happen to them!. dont eat that nasty stuff!Www@FoodAQ@Com
