Answers:
No more water, because that makes it worse!. That just washes the hot sensation all around your mouth instead of getting rid of it!. The suggestions above for fat (especially milk fat) and bread are the best!.
In the future, if you eat hot sauce again, try to make sure it goes to the back of your tongue rather than the front!. The tip of your tongue is much more sensitive to the heat of spicy foods than any other part of your mouth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mix a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, and about a teaspoon of baking soda in approx!. 4 to 6 oz of warm water!. Stir until water is clear!. Sip slowly, holding it in your mouth for a while before you swallow!.

And next time you eat hot sauce, hot peppers, etc!., learn to eat these things without letting them touch your lips!. You'll be amazed: no burn!.

Hope you feel better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you have ice cream!?

Eat some ice cream (or something fatty) slowly!.!.!. let the ice cream melt in your mouth!.!.!. discretely swish it around to absorb the heat!.

He burning sensation is due to capsaicin which is fat soluble!. Ice cream (especially Ben and Jerry) is high fat (and delicious)!. The fat and cold will help a lot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Water doesn't do anything, because the hot comes from oils, and water and oil don't mix!.

Try bread, to soak it up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

anything with fat in it, like ice cream or milk!. Regular yogurt will also help!. You can also swish olive oil in your mouth as a last resort!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any milk product will help!. Milk, cream, cheese, sour cream!. It binds with the stuff that is burning you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

crackers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

bread and milk!. That is the only thing that works for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

drink milkWww@FoodAQ@Com
