Answers:
Find a cardboard box roughly the same size and fill any empty space with crumpled grocery bags, air-popped popcorn, or newspaper!. Fill the tins enough or add waxed paper to fill them so the cookies don't move around in shipping!. Make sure they're taped up well and correctly labeled and they should get there just fineWww@FoodAQ@Com

if you are sending them in a box to them, then here's what you should do:

1!. tie a pretty holiday bow around the tin
2!. fill the box with tissue paper in a few colors (green, red, white, for example)
3!. put the tin in the box and pull the edges of the tissue paper sticking out of from underneath to cover the tin a little!. use a few more sheets tissue paper to cover the top!.
4!. make sure the whole box is filled
5!. if you want, you could add some cut outs of stars, christmas trees, etc!. sprinkled in the box
6!. put a christmas card in its envelope with your friend's name on it on top of all the tissue paper
*reverse everything to blue and white if you celebrate hannukah*Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get yourself some opaque wrapping, cut enough to completely cover the tin with enough to have kind of a tuft at the top, then tie off the tuft with some nice ribbon!.

It's easier to show an example!. It doesn't, of course, have to be that ornate!.
