A friend of mine had to break a caffeine addiction recently!. The only way he succeeded was to go cold turkey for about three months!. He suffered nausea and vomiting every day for about one month, but he is now able to have caffeine drinks without any side effects!. I also was addicted some time ago, but not as severely!.
So, I say, just don't drink any caffeine drinks for three months!. Avoid coffee, cola, chocolate, and anything with caffeine added!. Be prepared for your sleep patterns to be affected, and for mood swings, and for nausea!. Drink lots of water!. And reintroduce caffeine slowly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not a problem unless you literally can't go a week without having them!.
At one point in my life I was running bars for a living, some weeks I would work up to 120 hours!.!.!. do the math, that's 7 LONNNNNG shifts a week!. I would regularly drink 10 to 20 cans a day just to get me through the day - then go home, sleep for 4 or 5 hours, get up again, go to work and grab a red bull to wake me up!.
Once those crazy hours stopped (read: I quit working for that particular joke of a company) I found I still wanted Red Bull even after a good nights sleep so I went cold turkey and gave them up altogether for a few weeks
You'll be pleased to hear, it's not that hard!. Really!. You may feel a little drained for a few days, but some decent rest (which the caffeine in Red Bull can interfere with) and you'll soon be feeling fine again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
