How long do canned vegetables last?!

Question: How long do canned vegetables last!?
I have a can of green beans that has no "best if used by date" and no expiration date!. I'm pretty sure it's around 4-5 years old!. Does anyone know if it's still ok to eat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
as long as there is no dents or punctures in the can they can last for years!. thats why they always say in case of any emergency to stock up!. they are "non perishable"

dents in cans tho can cause minor creases in can to where air gets in then in that case the food can spoil!.!.!.but other wise!.!.!.they are there for a good long time!.

If there is no sign of bulging or dents it should be ok!.
When it is first punctured when opening if there is a hissing and a lot of juice spurting out, it could be off!.
If it smells funny, ditch them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Another name for canned foods is "non-perishables"; so really there isn't an expiration date, so long as the can stays hermetically sealed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
