What is a good substitute for potatoes, rice, or pasta?!

Couscous is actually coarsely ground semolina pasta!. It's great because all you have to do to cook it is drop it in boiling liquid (like your favourite broth), take it off the heat, put a lid on it, and voila! It'll be ready to eat in 5 minutes! Just remember to fluff it up with a fork before serving!.
I know you said you don't want to serve pasta, but couscous isn't like any other pasta I've tried!. Give it a go! Hope you like it, :]
also try something like mashed cauliflower (prepare it like you would mashed potatoes), or try pitas (if you brush oil on them you can toast them up to make GREAT pita chips) or some nice bread to try along with your suppers!. Experiment, it's fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think couscous is a kind of pasta or something they eat in Morocco!. I prefer rice, since I'm not a pasta lover -or why don't you try corn instead!? (anyway, my first choice is always potatoes, I really love them -kumara are also super yummy, though I prefer sweet things for dessert)Www@FoodAQ@Com
You should try a sandwich!. It might sound boring, but if you make a weird sandwich that you've never made before, you might actually start to like it!. Like in the Breakfast Club!. Hah, pixie sticks!. =P Just put leftovers in it and try it!. You never know how it will taste!.
