I'm really sensitive to caffeine, and I'll be going to bed in a bit!.!. so I'm curious about if having a cup of jasmine tea will affect me because of the caffeine!. To be specific, it's Twinings tea if that makes any difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Green tea and black tea contain the same amount of caffeine, as both come from the Camellia sinensis plant!. A standard cup of tea contains less than half the level of caffeine of a typical cup of instant coffee!. One cup of tea contains only around 10-50mg of caffeine whilst a cup of instant coffee contains between 60-100mg per 250ml cup!.

Jasmine tea uses Green teas as its base so personally I wouldn't recommend having it before bed if you are sensitive to caffeine!. I have Chamomile tea at home!.!.!. it doesn't contain caffeine and is a very soothing tea to have before bed, you should try that instead!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

green has more than coffee!Www@FoodAQ@Com
