Answers:
Cheese is known to mold - it is fine, just cut off the mold and eat!. When wrapping back up, make sure to use a clean piece of wrap or bag - at least that was what I have been told by a Wisconsin cheese maker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it is safe to eat cheese that had mold on it!. Infact, most aged cheeses grow mold, and the mold is shaved off before the cheese is sold!. The mold is harmless, cut it off and eat the cheese!. To prevent, or at least slow down, the mold from growing back, use a new container or plastic wrap after you cut the mold off, so you aren't just putting the mold spores right back on the cheese!. Molds are also used to make a lot of medications!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
