What's the difference between liverwurst and paté?!

Question: What's the difference between liverwurst and paté!?
Answers:
I do not want to dispel TX's theory, but as a former chef, liverwurst or chopped liver is just that, a ground and pureed liver with fat and flavours plus spices and is more a pastey texture, it can have other flavours and fats but is primarily liver, pate can be liver and meat, just meat, poultry, wild fowl and even fish!.

So they are very different, pate is something you eat with a variation of product, from breads, sauces, and garnishes, liverwurst or pate, is a spread or spread on bread, crackers, bagels or toast, it has a limited amount of garnishes, mostly onions, pickles or vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make a "pate" FROM liverwurst!. Just pulse (in your food processor) a small tube of liverwurst with bacon and 6 oz!. softened cream cheese!. You can add some finely chopped onion and parsley too, if you want!. Then, pack it in a crock or dish and refrigerateWww@FoodAQ@Com

one is german and one is french, both are bashed up bits of dead animal you wouldn't normally eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
