How can you tell when Cottage Cheese goes bad?!

Question: How can you tell when Cottage Cheese goes bad!?
Answers:
I am pretty cautious about not eating or drinking spoiled things, so if there was any doubt, I'd throw it out!. If it's been refrigerated, it should be okay to eat a few days past the "use by" or exp!. date, especially if it is still in the sealed package!. You could check the color of it and give it the sniff test to see if it has any foul, going bad smell!. You couldn't get me to do this if there was any question of it being less than fresh, but some people will taste a tiny bit if they're not sure!. They say you can tell by the taste if it's going bad without eating enough to actually make you ill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cottage cheese can be a bit watery on top and still be good!. When it starts going bad it starts smelling sour milk!. As it goes through spoilage, it will also taste really rank, so you spit it out!. Generally though look on the carton, bottom or around the top band and look for its expiration date, provided it has been properly refrigerated, it should be good through its expiration date!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Water will accumulate in cottage cheese when it gets old, also it will not taste or smell fresh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
