I had roasted suckling pigs many times in Asia!. It's fun to watch the server prepare the pig for you when he brings it on the table!. He cuts it with a dinner plate instead of a knife!. The skin breaks in contact because it is so crispy and the meat pulls away because it is so tender!. Everything in the pig from the tip of the snout to the end of the tail can be eaten, except for the bones, which are tiny by the way!. The tonque is a good piece to eat, so are the eyes, the ears and the brain!. The sauce is made of garlic, pureed tomatoes, sugar and pureed liver and some spices!. This is a very special treat, kind of a nightmare for some people who are not used to staring at a whole animal on the table, but for people who do not mind eating a good kind of food, this is definitely one to try!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Had one today actually!. Its delicious!. The meat is tender and the skin is crispy!. There was a light garlic sauce on it!. The bloke I was with asked for the head because he says that the face is the best part!. He ate all but the eyes and bones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Blah! I'm not a big fan of any kind of baby animal meat!. It's way too sweet, plus I have a hard time eating something that's still wearing it's face!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
