I've also been trying to eat healthier lately! Some of the things I've been snacking on are Fat Free Graham Crackers, grapefruit, fresh pineapple (some grocery stores will even core it for you for free if you ask), and Fat Free Italian Ice instead of ice cream!.

If you like fish, lately my roommate and I have been cooking white fish (cod, whatever you like best, etc!.) and then making fish tacos with fresh tomato, lettuce and onion!. Salsa is very good for you (but read the nutrition facts for any added sugar, etc!.), and I also heard that eating hot sauce with your meals can help you to feel more full (and it's good for skin - just don't put it on your skin)!. I've also been eating barilla whole grain pasta with just a little bit of olive oil and fresh chopped garlic!.

I don't know if that was any help, just figured I'd let you know what I've found works well for me! Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I prepare 2 cups of brown rice to 4 1/4 cups water and cook until tender and all water is absorbed!. Then I cool it, fluff it with a fork to keep it from clumping and store in the fridge!. With this already in the fridge, we can have some rice and milk and sweetener of choice for breakfast, we can mix it with some cheese and vegetables for a side with some roasted meat, or some can be dished into a bowl and mixed with something for a quick lunch!.!.!.how about added to a portion of canned tomato soup!?

Today I took 1/2 cup of rice and put in a bowl and topped it with some frozen stir fried vegetables and sprinkled it with about 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce!. Before heating for lunch, I mixed in a 3 oz packet of salmon and heated the whole thing!. It was the best lunch! Quite healthy and full of protein, omega 3s, and fiber!.

Try going through the Asian markets and looking for the best tea biscuits for something sweet!. They have some of the best, least sugar-ridden, different-grained carbs!. Be careful of the fat and sodium contents, though! I really like the sweet seaweed biscuits, though the ones I'm eating lately I suspect are a little higher in fat!.

I favor buying or prepping cut vegetables as a snack!.!.!.I often have celery and carrots and cauliflower and broccoli to chew on with some almonds and pecans when I'm wanting to be chewing something and not wanting a lot of calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Green bean casserole is not healthy!.

Don't eat any refined carbs!.

Multi-grain rice cakes are healthy, low calorie, and very versatile!. Try almonds, they come in a multitude of flavors!. Don't drink in your calories, stick with water and low calorie beverages and eat fruit instead of drinking fruit juices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
